Arrival of Shaun in the Jungle

13th July 2015

On Wednesday 8th July Dunkley’s held a launch party to celebrate the arrival of their Shaun in the Jungle sculpture, part of the Shaun in the City trail. The trail launched on Monday 6th July and has already attracted high numbers of visitors. Dunkley’s launch party was held at the University of Bristol’s fabulous Botanic Garden in Stoke Bishop, which is where Shaun in the Jungle can be found for the duration of the trail.

Guests from local businesses such as Gregg Latchams, Metcalfe’s, Wards and Bristol Zoo flocked to see Shaun in the Jungle and were given a warm welcome by Practice Director, Mike Dunkley “ We are so proud to be Leaders of the Flock and to be involved in this wonderful trail. We are huge fans of the Botanic Garden and are delighted to have our Shaun here this summer”.

Private guided tours of the gardens were provided by the garden’s wonderful volunteers and gave guests the opportunity to learn more about the gardens. Martyna Zoltaszek, the artist responsible for creating the concept of Shaun in the Jungle, made an appearance and was delighted to see her work in such a unique location. All in all, a fabulous time was had by all and Shaun has well and truly settled in to his new home.
