Mr Sprinkles raises money for St Chads

Mr Sprinkles visits St Chads Primary School

Mr Sprinkles was created as part of Bristol Zoo’s WOW! Gorilla campaign back in 2011. The campaign consisted of life-size gorilla statues, each with a unique design, that were displayed in specific locations in Bristol and then sold off at auction to raise money for the zoo. Several of the gorillas were left unpainted and were auctioned off. Dunkley’s director, Mike Dunkley, purchased an unpainted statue and commissioned his daughter, Eloise, to paint it.  Mr Sprinkles artwork includes a city scape of Bristol on one side and an African landscape on the other.

Dunkley’s have made Mr Sprinkles their mascot and he can regularly be seen at events helping to raise money for local schools and charities. This June, Mr Sprinkles made a guest appearance at St Chads Primary School’s Summer Fayre. The event attracted over 450 people and raised £1160 for the school.
