Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Dunkley’s Accountants is committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically, and with integrity. We recognise our responsibility to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our business operations and supply chains.
Our Commitment
We are fully supportive of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and take a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking.
Our Business and Supply Chain
As a professional accountancy firm, our operations are based primarily in the UK and involve low-risk activities in relation to modern slavery. However, we remain vigilant and assess potential risks in our supply chain, which includes service providers such as IT, software, facilities management, and professional support services.
Our Policies and Practices
We have implemented policies and procedures to ensure ethical business practices and compliance with employment law, including:
- Recruitment and Employment Policies – to ensure fair treatment, proper background checks, and the right to work in the UK.
- Supplier Standards – requiring suppliers to operate in line with our ethical values and applicable labour laws.
- Whistleblowing Policy – allowing employees to report any concerns, including potential human rights violations, without fear of retaliation.
Training and Awareness
We continue to raise awareness among our staff to recognise and report any signs of modern slavery.
Ongoing Review
This statement will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains current and effective.
This statement has been approved by the Directors of Dunkley’s Accountants and is made in accordance with Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Ethics and Integrity Statement
At Dunkley’s Accountants, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism in all that we do.
Our reputation is built on trust — with our clients, colleagues, and community — and we believe that doing the right thing is fundamental to long-term success.
Our Ethical Principles
We are guided by a clear set of values that shape how we work and make decisions:
- Integrity – We act honestly, transparently, and in the best interests of our clients.
- Objectivity – We provide advice based on facts and professional judgement, free from bias or conflicts of interest.
- Confidentiality – We respect and protect the confidentiality of all client information.
- Professional Behaviour – We comply with laws, regulations, and professional standards at all times.
- Respect – We foster a culture of fairness, inclusivity, and respect for every individual.
Our Commitment in Practice
We expect everyone representing Dunkley’s — including Directors, employees, and contractors — to uphold these principles. Ethical conduct is at the heart of our decision-making, from client relationships and financial management to recruitment and community engagement.
Where we identify risks to our ethical standards, we take prompt and transparent action to address them.
