On Wednesday 25th September, the nation’s top accountants gathered and celebrated in style at the British Accountancy Awards in London.
Organised by leading publication Accountancy Age, the awards recognise the best firms in the UK each year and celebrate excellence in the profession.
This year we were nominated for 3 awards; ‘Independent Firm of the Year: South-West, England’, ‘Outstanding Advisory’ and ‘Best Employer’.
As evident by our wide range of clients, extensive suite of services and professionalism, we continue to strive for excellence and being recognised for these awards is testament to that and the continued success of the business.
With 3 nominations, our hopes were high. Lisa, Matthew and Natasha attended the ceremony held at the Grosvenor in London last night and were delighted when Dunkley’s Chartered Accountants were declared the winners of the ‘Independent Firm of the Year: South-West, England’ award!
Once Lisa and Matthew managed to stop celebrating they both said that ‘winning such a prestigious award is a perfect time to thank each and every one of you for all your commitment and hard work you give to the firm every day, without which none of this is possible. So, a huge thank you to you all. We know as a firm we are continually striving to improve process and aim to always provide excellent client service. For this to be acknowledged at a National level is quite something and a reinforcement that we are doing all the right things. You should all be very proud of what has been achieved.’
When they arrived back to the offices today, breakfast rolls and champagne had been organised so everyone could celebrate the success! It was a fantastic day with spirits in the office at an all-time high.
This achievement proves we truly are the ‘best in the South West’.
