Chloe Debiaune

Head of Tax

Chloe joined Dunkley’s in 2016 with several years of practice experience behind her. Since working for Dunkley’s, Chloe has excelled in her career by not only qualifying as an Accountant in 2018 when she achieved her ACCA, but also attaining her Chartered Institute of Tax (CTA) certification in 2020.

With a clear focus on tax, Chloe’s day to day work focuses on managing the Tax team, reviewing, and overseeing tax returns preparation and dealing with tax queries from clients and colleagues. Her specialisms however lie in the more complex tax areas of planning and restructuring. She has supported a number of clients with company restructuring, management buyout tax advice and the preparation of tax illustrations under different deal structures. She also has experience of working with companies who are undergoing acquisition and providing them with the advice they need about setting up EMI schemes and selling individual shares.

Property tax is also an area of Chloe’s expertise. She regularly provides advice on incorporating a property portfolio into a company for tax efficiency purposes and works with clients to offer CGT and SDLT advice.

Outside of work, Chloe enjoys spending time with her young family and two cats, Woody and Lucy. When she can, she also loves travelling and exploring new places around the world.
